I recently got to shoot photos for the Alma Dental Centre in Vancouver. It was a great time despite the rain! The staff was friendly and the shoot was organized by Mesh Inc. Kirk Robinson from Mesh has done an amazing job with their online presence.

This Summer and Fall my wife and I have been shooting and editing 2 huge projects for the Township of Langley.
The first project is a "living in Langley" video. We're shooting at tons of events, and at all of the different communities.
The other project is a "why do business in Langley" video, and we're shooting interviews at all sorts of different businesses all over the Township. It's been a great experience so far, and we've made a lot of great connections in our own backyard!
They should be done in a month or so, so stay tuned.
This summer I went out to a local park to shoot two students that wanted to get some glamorous friend shots. It was a hot day and we got some excellent shots in the noon sun! In order to counter the bright sun I used my flashes at their highest settings. You can see the simple setup in the picture below. The Aurora soft box helps get a nice soft light on their faces, and the other flashes are used for fill and backlight. Shot on Canon 5DMK3.
It's finally here... It took several months and many hours of work, but it was all part of the last day of Project Do Stuf. Erik Michael and I randomly ran into each other and decided to throw this little short film together. We contacted my old pal John Palen for the role of the old man, and he did a fantastic job! Nothing like getting your acting debut at 92 years old!
Our first shots for the film featured my new baby niece that was barely 24 hours old for her acting debut, and she also did a great job! It was very gracious of my sister and brother-in-law to let me film her!
I hope you enjoy it, it definitely took a lot longer than Just Day 20, but I am happy with the results. Thanks to Erik, John, and everyone involved!
On Monday my good friend Tobi Crawford came over to record this beautiful jazz standard. Yesterday we filmed the footage to go along with it. Tobi sings and plays on this one, she is one incredible musician!
Today I processed a whole bunch of photos shot on the weekend for a new friend Rob. He saw my video of my Chevy II I made 2 weeks ago and contacted me to to shoot his car. This is one incredible machine! 1966 Chevy II Nova with a huge 496 engine! It literally felt like a rocket when he put his foot down. Here are some of the more processed versions, he will also be getting the standard versions, but these were fun to play with.
Just some fun pics with my amazing model/ wife Becca! For this one we put a gelled flash inside an old lantern. All of these were shot around noon, so the flashes helped create the look of night. No agenda, just having fun!
